A radio for people who just want the radio on. Star what you like, press it once, and it plays — through a locked screen, through another app, and through a signal that drops and comes back.
The person who installs Radioh and the person who uses it are often not the same person. So it opens by asking which of these you want, and either answer can be changed later without losing a thing.
Large text, large buttons, your starred stations and nothing else. One tap plays. One tap stops. There is no menu to get lost in, no feed, and nothing that moves on its own — built for a parent or a grandparent who has never wanted an app.
A darker, modern browse: shelves by country and by region, search across the catalogue, and the place a station comes from drawn behind it — a monument from that city, etched into the background, so you know where you have landed.
The language the app reads in and the language it plays are two different questions, and Radioh asks them separately — read it in English while listening in Kannada, if that is what suits you. On Android each language also ships as its own app, with its own icon, its own colour, and its own stations already starred on the first screen.
Radioh has no server of its own, which is the reason the list below can be this short. There is nowhere for us to keep anything about you, so we don't.
Radioh is at version 0.14 and has not been published to Google Play or the App Store. When it is, the buttons below become real links — this page is where they will appear.
Where the stations come from: Radio Browser, a community-maintained catalogue. Every stream plays directly from the station that runs it — nothing is re-hosted here, and a station owner can ask for a change or a removal at any time. Song artwork comes from the iTunes Search API.
